Where are the funds sitting once I have loaded my bux.com account?

Funds that are loaded into your bux.com account are placed in your e-wallet account, and accessible with your bux.com card, or for use with simple mobile phone remittance technology. All accounts are supported and issued by our partner bank, and bux.com does not handle the funds at any time. 

Can anyone use bux.com?

Do I need a special type of phone or handset to use my bux.com account?

Do I have to open a bank account to be able to use my bux.com account?

There is NO need for you to apply or open a bank account to use a bux.com account. You can load your bux.com card and account in person. If you do have a bank account, you can also load your bux.com account through direct transfer of funds.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Your money stays safe, as it is protected in your account by your personal PIN. This is called 2 and 3 Factor Authentication and ensures the highest level of security.

What happens if my phone has been cut off? How do I access my mobile money?

If your phone is cut off or you need to change your mobile phone, you can easily update this information in your account through the update my account link.

As a primary account holder, do I have an individual account separate from my beneficiaries?

Yes. Each account holder has a separate account to that of anyone receiving remittances from your account.
